Norm Frank - Falls Are Due to Low Blood Pressure. 

The following is information received February 17th from Mark Frank, son of Norm Frank:

"We had some great news from the hospital doctors down in New Port Richey, FL - after an MRI it was determined that Norm did not have another stroke but had balance problems due to low blood pressure when rising from a chair or bed.  When Norm fell, he thought it was another stroke like the first (a mini stroke called a TIA stroke).  Norm will be trying a new med to alleviate the blood pressure problem and intense rehab (in Florida) to help with balance issues.  Luckily, the fall itself resulted in no injuries.  So, there is glimmering hope that Norm will be able to continue walking, running and possibly more marathon distances."

Background:  Norm Frank, now age 77, was inducted into the GRTC Hall of Fame in 1981 for his prolific marathoning.  Since his induction, he continued running many marathons each year and is the American Leader with 965 career marathons.  You can read more about Norm at his web site:
